Job Description
Are you an experience and ambitious Territory Account Executive who could help grow one of the UK's largest certification bodies, with the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading Food brands?
We have an exciting new role at NSF for a Territory Account Executive (Agriculture), to join our team. You will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline and generation of sales revenue from all NSF Food Supply Chain Solutions service lines with a specific focus on the UK Agriculture sector. The primary focus is the marketplace within the UK & Ireland, with targeted activity across arable, horticulture, livestock, sustainable production, ESG, targeting leading corporates, schemes and retailer supply chain programs and mandates.
Responsibilities
Including , but not limited to:
Responsible for winning/developing/growing targeted UK Agriculture customers to key account level.
Prospecting, creating, managing, and maintaining a pipeline while ensuring all sales administration is current using Sales Force CRM software
Sales development and execution of accounts identified as strategic customers based on volume/value potential or strategic expansion of existing retail accounts.
Developing first to market opportunity for NSF, as well as market intelligence in terms of Agri-sector retail mandates and emerging regulatory and code of practice requirements.
Responsible for YOY sales growth targets by territory, by business unit, and service line.
Present NSF International solutions and services to clients through presence at trade shows, conferences, agri-food forums, direct communication in face-to-face meetings, video or web meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
Develops sales plans and forecasts for the territory, analysing the sector and segment needs and expectations, identifying the DMU (Decision Making Unit) and partnering with marketing on building/executing a strategy designed specifically for the UK Agriculture sector.
Qualifications
University education or equivalent is essential, ideally in an agriculture related discipline
Successful and sustained track record, demonstrable over a sustained period, in a results-driven strategic sales role ideally within the agri/supply chain commercial functions in the TIC sector
Demonstrable experience in planning, prospecting, and winning large scale agri-food business within the food industry - ideally within the TIC sector
Previous experience in agri-food compliance arena with in-depth knowledge of the supply chain
Ability to plan strategic market approaches, make data driven decisions, and deliver successful outcomes through skilled planning, 'needs based' selling, and fanatical prospecting.
Creative and entrepreneurial thinking to exploit niche and enterprise level opportunity, seeking 'blue ocean' opportunity that gains pull through for NSF services.
Excellent communicator with the ability to confidently manage key stakeholder relationships at senior / c-suite level.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
Ability to hunt new business
Travel is required to sites that are accessible by car, so must have a valid EU driving licence and means of travel
Have a flexible approach to working around different multiple time zones as part of a global organisation, along with the ability to undertake international travel and stay overnight when required.
Fundamental knowledge of UK Agriculture sector and farming (preferred but not essential)
Empathy and compassion to the challenges of UK Farming
Close proximity / ease of access to the Oxford Head Office, and travel throughout the UK and Ireland (preferred but not essential)
