Are you interested in Terminal Operations and looking to grow with Gatwick? One of Stable Ops key aims is 'Operating a stable and safe airport', they achieve this by living their mission to 'PREVENT. PREPARE, RESPOND and RECOVER' enabling the passenger journey through the airport to be safe and efficient and that the planes take off on time. What is the role? Working in the Gatwick Control Centre (GCC) the TOC monitors all aspects of the daily stable operations. Proactively identifying any issues which might cause plan deviation, and communicating effectively within these areas, providing concise information to the operational teams to enable contingency implementation. What will you do?
Using all necessary tools to proactively monitor all aspects of the airport operation, coordinating necessary actions from stakeholders Identifying deviations from the daily plan and communicating early warning of risks and their associated consequences to the operational teams Working with the wider stable operations community to deliver smarter ways of working and embed a culture of continuous improvement, delivering a cost-effective operation Maintains effective communications and excellent customer service with GAL staff, airport stakeholders and airport 3rd parties. Accurate logging of contemporaneous information enabling a robust post incident review process
Do you have what we're looking for?
Experience in a Control Centre environment
Experience in managing incident or crisis situations and working as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcome under pressure Experience in the contemporaneous logging of information Exceptional communication skills - the ability to promulgate detailed information both verbally and written to all stakeholders in a professional, accurate and timely manner Ability to analyse data sets to recognise trends
