Salary �31 - �32k Basic - OTE �40k

Our clients are a leading provider of cutting-edge telematics solutions for the automotive industry, and we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mobile Telematics Engineer to join our team in Bristol, South West, Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

As a Mobile Telematics Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our advanced telematics systems in vehicles, including immobilisers, cameras, beacons, and other tracking devices. You will be required to work independently or as part of a team to carry out installations and maintenance tasks, and to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure telematics devices in vehicles, including immobilisers, cameras, beacons, and other tracking devices.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of telematics systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telematics systems.
• Ensure that all installations and repairs are carried out in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues as required.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest telematics technologies and trends in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Experience in the installation and maintenance of telematics systems, including immobilisers, cameras, beacons, and other tracking devices.
• Good knowledge of vehicle electrics and electronics.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for telematics systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
