Telehandler

Seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to safely operate and maneuver telehandlers on a construction site. Responsible for lifting, moving, and placing heavy materials, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain telehandlers, following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.


• Load, unload, and transport materials using the telehandler.


• Inspect equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues.


• Attach and secure loads correctly.


• Collaborate with supervisors and team members on material positioning.


• Adhere to project timelines and work collaboratively.


• Handle materials to minimize damage.


• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.


• Follow safety regulations and use PPE.


• Assist team members when needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator or similar role.


• Valid telehandler operator certification or license.


• Knowledge of telehandler operations, maintenance, and safety.


• Strong hand-eye coordination and depth perception.


• Ability to operate in different conditions and terrains.


• Familiarity with load charts and capacity calculations.


• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.


• Effective communication and teamwork skills.


• Physical fitness and stamina.


• Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA knowledge.
