The advertising close date for this vacancy is Thursday 2nd May 2024The service delivery manager will be responsible for working with Technology vendors and local resources to design and implement our technology service to support, empower and accelerate the next evolution of the Medtech division.Uniphar Medtech is currently undertaking an ambitious transformation program designing and implementing Microsoft Business Central across the division, we are also migrating from 6 different IT networks and tenants into a single network and tenant across all the Medtech businesses in Ireland, UK, and Europe.The primary purpose of the role is to build and develop a best-in-class technology team & service which can scale with the MedTech division. This will be a varied role, with a focus on managing vendors to successfully deploy the technology infrastructure to support the business objectives and demands of the Medtech division.You will be highly motivated, with a passion for Technology systems & processes, along with cyber security & compliance. It does, however, provide an indication of the main duties and responsibilities of the position.Support the implementation of the division's IT strategy as directed by the Division Technology Lead.Manage Technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Develop and monitor KPIs to measure IT Vendors performance and identify areas for improvement.Provide guidance to local IT Managers and MSP’s.Collaborate with key stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.Identify and prioritise technology projects to enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation.Manage technology budgets effectively, seeking opportunities for optimisation.Ensure adherence to IT security policies and information governance standards.Oversee vendors and outsourced partners, evaluating their performance, recommending specific performance improvement initiativesManage the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure.Research and recommend system solutions based on business needs and cost-effectiveness.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.Role RequirementsEssential:Degree educated in IT, Computer Science, or a related fieldHighly motivated, proactive, and determined problem solver who can drive and deliver solutions3 years experience in management roles and, overseeing IT operations and leading IT teams along with IT budgeting and financial managementKnowledge of Microsoft suite including Office365, Dynamics Business Central and Power BIStrong understanding of business processes and alignment with technology solutions.Proven experience in system implementation and designStrong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budgetIn-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity principlesProactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and across multiple geographiesBe a high potential individual who is comfortable with autonomous workBe highly flexible, resilient and comfortable working at a fast paceDesirable:Have demonstrable experience of leading and developing successful teamsExperience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, etc.)Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislationKnowledge of emerging technologies and industry trendsKnowledge of Microsoft SQL server is an advantageProactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and across multiple geographiesBe a high potential individual who is comfortable with autonomous workBe highly flexible, resilient and comfortable working at a fast paceProvide regular updates to the division leadership teamUniphar MedtechUniphar Medtech comprises 10 businesses across 21 markets and is the medical device arm of the Uniphar Group.Uniphar Medtech represents global leading medical device manufacturers across a multitude of specialities.
