An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technologist to join our Technical team at the head office. This role involves working alongside the Technical Manager to execute the company's technical strategy effectively, ensuring product safety and quality in a fast-paced and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards across the company and with our suppliers.
• Lead tasks essential for successful New Product Development (NPD) launches.
• Manage the collection and documentation of product specifications and other relevant documents from suppliers.
• Handle technical documentation and queries specific to customers.
• Coordinate the submission and testing of product samples with external laboratories.
• Ensure accurate documentation and management of technical information and the product database.
• Provide technical support across various functions as required.
• Periodically review product specifications and technical documents.
• Perform technical visits to suppliers for quality assessments and approval of first production runs.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners, focusing on technical and product development areas.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in technical and quality assurance within the food sector.
• Degree in Food Science or a related discipline preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Organized and methodical, with excellent administrative and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives.
