Job DescriptionYou will be joining an established team based at the Arqiva site in Sutton Coldfield as part of Operational Support. You will be at the forefront of supporting Arqiva in ensuring products are repaired and tested to customer specification.Location
Onsite at Arqiva Sutton ColdfieldTotal Package Up to £35K base salary 5% pension contribution Private Medical 25 days annual leave Access to our comprehensive flexible benefits including discounts on big brands, wellness and employee assistance programmes, gymflex, buy and sell annual leave, travel and dental insurance Must HavesAble to repair, test and configure specialised broadcast/telecommunication units (UPS's, MDU's, Power Supplies, Amplifiers, Fan Assemblies)Experience of competent fault finding and repair/replace to component and board level on a broad range of Broadcast, Networked and Mechanical ProductsKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, repair and configure a broad range of highly specialised electronic and mechanical broadcast/telecommunication equipment.Responsible for batch repairs of items such as UPS's, MDU's, Power Supplies, Amplifiers, Fan Assemblies, specialised broadcast transmitters and some Networking EquipmentComplete complex testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements.Ensuring the quality of works from internal and external repairs meet precise and exact equipment specification and or customer expectations.Required ExpertiseKnowledge testing IP Networked or similar connected technologies)Experience using a wide range of Test Equipment including not limited to Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, Power Meters, Power Sensors, Frequency CountersAble to Upgrade/downgrade firmware/software and license options. Experience of soldering electronic components to a high standardExcellent technical knowledge of electronic and mechanical componentsWorking knowledge of IP Networking, SNMP, GPS, UHF and/or VHF signals, frequency, and systemsRF experience would be desired Why join Arqiva?
