Role
- Run technical checks and investigate technical issues to maintain a healthy technical environment
Location
- remote Warrington office as and when needed; Must be based in the North West UK
Salary
- £25,000 - £28,000 + benefits
Are you a Technology Graduate or someone with 12+ months experience in a similar role?

The company are a leading software vendor who support over 1000 customers using the solutions, maintaining critical connections and ensuring smooth operations. This Technical Support team conducts regular checks, manages credentials, and maintains remote connections to prevent issues. You will monitor server health daily including analysing CPU, disk, memory, and SQL outputs, predicting future issues, and projecting data growth impacts. This is a great opportunity for a graduate who is keen to learn a lot quickly!
Responsibilities - Technical Support Engineer
Run daily sever health checks for customers including analysing CPU, disk and memory
Raise customer issues and monitor colleague requests for help
Investigate technical problems and customers' systems
Investigate and write SQL statements
Requirements - Technical Support Engineer
12 months or more experience in a similar role i.e. 1st line support, technical or IT support
Familiarity with networks and VPNs
Proficiency in Windows-based operating systems
Understanding of SQL Server with the ability to write SQL statements
Proactive attitude to learning and skill acquisition
Advantageous skills include knowledge of Powershell, proficiency in programming languages, and experience working with VMWare ESXi
