Technical Support Engineer (Spectrum Scale / GPFS) – Remote (UK)
Award winning technology solutions provider with innovative solutions delivered to a range of clients in the high performance computing space are looking for experienced, technically astute and customer focused technical support engineers to join their team. The role will be working as part of a team to remotely qualify, diagnose and troubleshoot highly technical issues within clients as part of a team with a focus on prioritizing and recording incidents and issues to help improve the products as a whole. You will need proven experience working within a technical support engineer or technical helpdesk role coupled with a solid technical understanding of Linux, Bash Scripting, Networking and an understanding of Parallel or Clustered file systems and storage solutions. Experience working for a technology vendor or solutions provider would be a distinct advantage as would working with clients dealing with high performance computing challenges such as AI, Media, Research or similar. They are flexible on location for the role within the UK including fully remote or working from one of their offices.
Salary £50 – 55000 + Benefits and Bonus
