24WD76140Position OverviewThe Technical Solutions Executive (TechSE) is a commercial technical role that partners with the Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executive to grow new business in the UK & Ireland Design & Manufacturing (D&M) industry. It is a remote position, based in the UK within the Northern Europe D&M Technical Sales Team and will report to the Senior Manager, D&M Technical Sales. You will travel within the UK and Europe to customer and internal meetings.ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executives and other pit-crew members to define a strategic customer plan and implement that planYou will develop through joint and independent in-person and remote customer-facing activities, you will develop your knowledge of customers' processes, workflows, goals and requirements to build "trusted advisor" relationshipsYour understanding of the D&M industry, processes, technology trends and workflows will provide insight, stories and guidance required to inspire and excite accounts to differentiate us and gain acceptance that we are a long-term solution providerYou will lead discovery activity to capture requirements, goals and as-is processes to make business cases and use this information to qualify any opportunity and connect our solutions to business outcome value. You work with Solutions Engineers and Partners who use their knowledge to architect a technical solution based on your findingsYou will develop and present a compelling value proposition with us to secure the Technical Win. Throughout the sales process you will inspire and excite customer through awesome presentations and storiesYou will develop trusted working internal relationships with us to ensure customer satisfaction and new business growthMinimum Qualifications4+ years experience in customer-facing Presales/Technical Sales/Sales role5+ years working in or with the Design & Manufacturing industryKnowledge of Autodesk solutions such as Inventor, Fusion, Vault or Fusion Manage or knowledge of selling technology solutions from other SaaS or technology vendorsThe Ideal CandidateYou enjoy good working relationships at all levelsYou do what you sayYou are a great story tellerGrowth mentality with a desire to personally developComfortable with independent customer-facing activitiesYou have experience adapting to customer/partner needs and cultureAt ease using data and insightsYou are curious and comfortable in unstructured settingsYou can work on several initiatives and produce quality deliverablesYou are respectful and cooperative with others#LI-IS1 Learn More
