Technical Services Director

The Technical Services Director is responsible for the Technical aspect of the commercial business including Technical Support, Field Service Operations, Quality & Continual improvement & Product Training, with the objectives of ensuring product safety, minimising costs and improving the customer's experience. Ensuring those who encounter their products have sufficient knowledge to install, service repair and use the products we deliver. You will be provide overall leadership to approx. 25 staff and have an excellent technical understanding around electrical and mechanical products.
Main Duties
Full responsibility, leadership & management for the Technical Services, Field Engineering and Product Training teams
Manage continual evaluation & improvement process to improve quality, cost reduction, product safety, customer satisfaction
Managing the performance of the department and management through effective key performance indicators, targets, and goal settings
Ensure compliance with standards for HSEQ including lead manager for product recalls
Attend Business Review Meetings as required
Skills and Knowledge
Experience in a senior management role including responsibility for management of an entire function or site and full P&L responsibility.
Electrical engineering background with supporting qualifications & experience in mechanical engineering
