The business has developed over 150 variations are experiencing excellent progress in the market. They have exciting growth plans to double the turnover over the next 5 years and they are currently looking for a Sales Manager to support with this. It is a newly created position for the business and will be paramount to the company’s success. You will develop and execute a sales strategy that attracts, converts, and retains clients. In this critical management role, your leadership style will be instrumental in driving the sales team to success.Role & Responsibilities:Develop and execute the business sales strategy to align with the company’s goals.Set clear and achievable sales objectives and support the sales team to exceed targets.Create comprehensive sales plans for both short and long terms and guide the team to achieve set objectives.Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients, as well as identifying new revenue streams.Forecast deliverables accurately and analyse customer needs to recommend suitable products, promoting innovation and problem-solving.Deliver compelling and targeted sales pitches tailored to clients' needs and preferences.Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to ensure mutual satisfaction for both clients and the company.Full details of the role can be provided upon request. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Proven experience in managing a sales team or directly managing colleagues, with a strong focus on leadership, coaching, and team development to drive performance and achieve sales targets.Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.Previous sales experience or technical expertise within a manufacturing business.Experience building a sales team and sales strategy from scratch would be beneficial.
