Role Overview – Technical Sales Manager
Our leading client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to join their commercial team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will play a crucial part in maximizing sales through service contracts and capital sales. The successful candidate will manage relationships with assigned regional accounts, expand our customer base, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities – Technical Sales Manager


  • Manage relationships with assigned regional accounts, expanding the number of active customers within defined sectors.
  • Increase sales and profits from the agreed customer base.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and contracts team, National Sales Manager, and other departments.
  • Lead the sourcing, identification, and validation of opportunities.
  • Deliver technically compliant and commercially viable tender and bid submissions.
  • Provide guidance on project cash flows, pipeline, and reporting.
  • Ensure all quotes and sales are managed within company policies and processes.

Key Experience & Requirements – Technical Sales Manager


  • Degree educated (preferably in Engineering or Business).
  • 5+ years of sales experience within the compressed air industry.
  • Experience in quoting and selling capital equipment and service contracts.
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the compressed air industry.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
