Maintenance and development of business relationships and new opportunities with key personnel, understanding forecasts and trends, managing contracts as well as identifying risks will be included in your daily tasks.Responsibilities:· Identify and develop new customers and opportunities, manage business development projects.· Awareness and ability to work to sales and margin targets.· Principal and supplier management.· Identify opportunities for new products and new Principals in relevant market areas. Develop these opportunities in conjunction with the management team.· Gather market intelligence and prepare market surveys.· Reporting and admin functions related to the above including customer and supplier visit reports.· Manage stocks for certain product ranges in conjunction with the Admin Office support.Candidate Profile:· Degree or equivalenting Chemistry, Polymer science or any commercial experience preferred.· Technical knowledge of engineering thermoplastic formulations and processing preferred.· Team player able to interact effectively at all business levels.· Excellent clear concise communicator and problem-solver.· Creative, Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work alone and flexible.· High attention to detail and a strong organized approach.· Comfortable with UK travel and occasional overseasFor reasons of better legibility, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (f/m/d) is avoided.
