Technical Sales Engineer

Location: National

£40,000 - £45,000 OTE £53,000+ plus Christmas bonus, company car, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, pension and 28 days holiday inclusive of statutory days

We are a leading company that specialises in Rainwater Harvesting and Greywater Recycling. We have been established for over 10 years and have an excellent reputation in the industry.

 Due to growth, we are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the team.

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Sales Director and Directorship team you will be working with the Sales Team Leader and the estimating team, coordinating with operations, engineering and finance.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Searching for new clients who can benefit from the company products or services and maximise client potential across the UK
  • Develop long term relationships through managing, interpreting and delivering on their requirements to secure repeat sales
  • Generate and manage your own meetings in addition to supporting the sales team with any client facing meetings they may generate
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions
  • Analyse costs and sales to ensure projects are profitable
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets the clientsneeds as required
  • Research and understand relevant legislation, regulations and what is happening in the water and construction industries

To apply for this position, you MUST have or hold:


  • Have a Water or Construction background/experience
  • A solid technical background
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ideally have a proven track record
  • Able to get to Northamptonshire ideally once a week

This position involves staying away up to 2-3 nights per week staying away; therefore, you NEED to flexible with travel and overnight stays.
