Technical Sales Engineer

SQ Partners have once again been asked to help one of our favourite clients, they are incredible unit with such a great name in the industry.

They have gone through a period of staying quite lean over the last years as a result of the pandemic however the bounceback has been nothing short of amazing!

This traditional engineering manufacturing business has already strengthened their Design and Projects teams by 4 heads this year and are now looking to bring on a Technical Sales Engineer to help with the order books.

The ideal candidate would need to have experience in:

• Engineering Manufacturing background


• Experience (current) of estimating and producing quotes, bids and tenders


• Ability to pick items out of a price book and produce offers for customers


• Ability to provide some technical support/help in collaboration with engineering team and sales team


• Ability to produce required paperwork to turn an order into a job ready for production and installation or to handover to Project Manager dependent on the job type


• Ability to work in 2D CAD ideally, however if you can read CAD drawings and have a lot fo the above experience that would work too.

This is an internal sales role to be based in their lovely office to work in conjuction with the external sales team.
