Do you have any experience in technical sales, and background in Electrical engineering, looking to step into a newly created role, within a technically advanced and rapidly growing business, where you will be in a crucial role, adding direct value to a dynamic organisation which provides industry leading solutions to a diverse range of industries, from hybrid vehicles, to renewables and offshore applications?

Are you looking to step into a multi-faceted, dynamic role which is focused on account management and internal enquiries, where you will work with leading OEM's across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as contractors and end users, ensuring technical solutions are provided, responding to technical enquiries and providing quotations for cutting edge HV electrical equipment?

On offer is a unique opportunity to join a highly reputable manufacturer, leading the way in the design and manufacture of high power electrical equipment, looking to expand within specific sectors. They currently turnover over �10 million, with over 80 employees, supplying to OEM's and end users throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Their products have a diverse range of applications, including power resistors for power quality, and neutral earthing for MV and HV network systems. They are currently experiencing increasing demand for their products, therefore seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who will be internally focused to provide expert knowledge and support for technical enquiries, meeting with clients over the phone and F2F.

The role:

  • Respond to client enquiries, including meeting over the phone and F2F, looking to understand and interpret clients technical requirements, then offering the most relevant solutions
  • Produce quotes and tenders, then following up on opportunities
  • Provide technical product knowledge to clients
  • Ensure any order issues are resolved regards ongoing orders
  • Occasional client visits
  • Work closely with Production, Design, Contracts and Engineering

The person:

  • Background in Electrical Engineering
  • Any technical sales experience, or similar
