Technical QA EngineerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Technical QA Engineer with an IT skill-set to join our QA team. The position involves testing and quality control of the platform that was built to help IT and MSP teams efficiently manage, patch and support all endpoints. Our team is steadily growing and we are seeking a specialist who can work and control the quality of remote access applications and monitoring systems for hardware and computer networks.This full-time position involves a wide IT knowledge base but it is not necessary to possess it at the expert level since we already have a close-knit team that is ready to help at any time. Location- London, United Kingdom or Remote anywhere in the UKWhat you'll be doing IT Expertise: Dive deep into our suite of products and emerge as an in-house expert on IT software solutionsTesting & Troubleshooting: Undertake comprehensive software testing, spotting inconsistencies and conducting troubleshooting to guarantee impeccable feature releasesDocumentation: Prepare detailed reports on the quality and functionality of software applications after thorough testingContinuous Improvement: Proactively suggest enhancements to current testing methodologies, tools and processes and continually refine our QA practicesCollaboration: Actively collaborate with product managers, developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development life
cycle, ensuring that quality standards are met at each stage.About You Operating System experience (Windows/ Mac/ Linux)Experience with virtualization - any 'Type' hypervisors (VMWare Workstation, VMWare Fusion, VirtualBox, Parallels)Experience with computer networks and network equipment (setup and management)Understanding of network hardware TCP/IP protocol understanding (especially SNMP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS)Experience of using Postman (or any other API platforms)Ability to collect and analyze information from log files Experience with remote control tools (TeamViewer, Splashtop, AnyDesk, ConnectWise)Ability to use cmd/ PowerShellBasic knowledge of OSI layersOS Windows and Mac at administrator level (optional)Win Servers and any Linux distributions (optional)Configuration and working with network equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, HP and others (optional)Type 1 hypervisors (ESXi) (optional)Active Directory (optional)About UsNinjaOne automates the hardest parts of IT, empowering more than 17,000 IT teams with visibility, security, and control over all endpoints.
