We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Publication Engineer to join our clients' engineering team, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with the following:Generation and delivery of Technical Publication Documents to customers, potentially including Product Manuals, Repair Manuals, User Guides, Service Bulletins, CMM's, Service Letters, Temporary Revisions and Service ManualsAct as the point of contact for customers and technical authorities for all technical documentation queriesDevelop and manage publishing software tools required by the businessMain Responsibilities:Authoring and publishing documentation to high standards that serve the customer's needs to service and maintain the companies range of productsWork with design data and guidance materials to produce quality and compliant documentationTake responsibility of progress of technical publications documentations against project plan(s) to ensure documentations are available when expected and required by the customerTo ensure existing CMM's are maintained, revision controlled and communicated with customers in a timely manner.Build strong relationships both internally and externally with all relevant parties including but not limited to engineering, production, quality assurance, customers, suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, external (A)DOA organisationsUnderstand the product limitations based on airworthiness, certification basis and/or design, and ensure the documentations generated are a true representation of these limitationsKey Experience Requirements:Ideally educated to a minimum HNC / HND level in a technical / engineering disciplinePrevious experience working as a Technical Publications Engineer / Technical Author / Technical Writer, ideally within an Aerospace / Aviation environmentPrevious experience of authoring product publication with both Mechanical & Electrical ComponentsGood knowledge of publishing software and toolsPrevious experience of Commercial Aviation and International Standards / Approvals and Certifications is highly desirablePrevious Experience of ISO9001 and AS9100If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a company that will value your skills and contribution and can offer career progression opportunities, including allowing you the exciting opportunity of developing their Technical Publications capability further we want to hear from youAdvertising your job vacancies with the IMI is an ideal solution to fix your recruitment needs at low cost.
