Our mission is to empower our clients with cutting-edge tools and insights, enabling them to make smarter, data-driven decisions.The Role:We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within a technical or software development environment. As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving the product development process to deliver high-quality software products.Key Responsibilities:Product Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain a detailed product backlog in JIRA, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders. Your ability to articulate user stories, acceptance criteria, and the product vision is essential.Squad Collaboration: Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the squad's Tech Lead. You'll work closely together to plan sprints, resolve impediments, and ensure a smooth, efficient development process. Your collaboration will be key to the squad's success.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between the project team and stakeholders. You'll need to communicate effectively, translating technical information into business language and vice versa, ensuring alignment and understanding across the board.Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously refine the product backlog. You'll play a pivotal role in the iterative development of our products, aiming for constant enhancement of features and user experience.Requirements:• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.• Prior experience in Finance or Insurance • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, especially JIRA.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.• A strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, capable of understanding complex technical issues and translating them into actionable plans.• Experience in the re-insurance or insurance technology sector is a plus.What We Offer:£400 - £480 per day (Outside IR35) Opportunity is largely remote with the team meeting in London a couple of times per month.
