This helps us to achieve the spirit of Dyson – collaboration, creativity, and inventiveness – in our inspiring, social, and dynamic workspaces.About the roleReporting to the Technical Product Owner Team Lead, you will work alongside global RDD teams to provide technical leadership considering industry best practice across the MCAD capability area. This will include grooming and prioritising a backlog of technical requirements for IT platforms/systems, working with IT business analysts to develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.Our tool of choice for CAD is Siemens NX and so you will need to be highly proficient with experience using it alongside Teamcenter. You will partner with the business to create and maintain a roadmap for this software and the hardware to support it in this area that fits the requirements of the engineers.Principle AccountabilitiesCreate and maintain an IT product development roadmap for our MCAD (Siemens NX) capability that clearly demonstrates technical thought leadership and industry best practices.Act as an ambassador for global IT with the most senior global RDD stakeholders, solution architects, RDD engineers, subject matter experts, business process owners, and a wide variety of delivery and support teams, this will include joint stewardship for the robustness and maturity of Dysons .Work inside the RDD & NPI IT Delivery function and with external strategic partners to oversee the quality of technical delivery, ensuring compliance to standards and policies.Work alongside internal Legal and Procurement functions to gain maximum benefit for the business and strive for industry leading capabilities and application roadmaps.Support and collaboratively improve Product Management and application delivery through programmes and projects.Support architecture with strategic partners and third parties to bring thought leadership, future trends, industry best practice, innovation, and opportunities for the RDD, new product innovation, and research application landscape.You will develop your career at Dyson by creating and owning your professional and personal development plan, using the internal talent development framework to baseline your capabilities and identify stretch targets to build your career.About youYou need to be customer focused, organised, confident, and be able to work at speed.In depth experience of Siemens NX with integration into Teamcenter.Strong experience of managing change within MCAD for large engineering organisations.Leadership ability to prioritise and manage technical changes.Experience of implementing and shaping technical strategy.Enthusiastic advocate of business change and innovationOutstanding technical communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence senior levels across the organisation.Ability to contribute to the resolution of service risks and issues alongside internal and external teams and resources.Ability to structure and implement organisational processes, procedures, and knowledge retention.Ability to produce meaningful Senior level reports on status, trends, and performance.Experience of project and software delivery methodologies/approaches/techniques – not limited to but including - Agile/SCRUM/SAFE/DSDM/DevSecOpsProven experience of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Performance related bonusDiscounts on Dyson machinesPurchase additional holidaysLifestyle:Free bus travel to and from Malmesbury/Hullavington campus from Bristol, Chippenham and SwindonOn-site parkingEndless free coffee and tea, and a free lunchFree on-site hair salonElectric vehicle schemeHealth:Private Medical insurance for all employeesEmployee Assistance Program for employee and dependentsDigital GP and prescription serviceFertility treatment supportOn-site gym and sports centreDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
