Technical Operations Coordinator – Office Based - Drainage

The Client





My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to work from the clients Dartford office.



This position will also involve attending site visits at times and assisting the engineers with technical issues they incur.







Key Responsibilities





Site visits




  • Site surveys to be carried out to a high standard

  • Assisting engineers and clients with site technical issues







Office Responsibilities






  • Scheduling engineers diaries and planning routes.

  • Coordinating works for customers with the engineers.

  • Raising client quotations following engineer reports.

  • Answer emails, telephone calls from customer and engineers about enquires on quotes/jobs.

  • Dealing with any inbound complaints efficiently.

  • Managing a diary of customers and jobs to understand customers' needs.

  • Managing an extensive range of job data and applying tasks where necessary.

  • Manage inbound email inbox, distributing enquiries to the right place and handling a volume of customer service enquiries.

  • Ensuring quality control standards are met with every job.

  • Auditing engineers job reports to ensure all job requirements are met.

  • Creating and issuing survey reports.

  • General admin works where necessary.





Key Requirements






  • Experience of working in the drainage industry sector is paramount

  • Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of the drainage sector

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication & phone handling skills.

  • Strong IT skills and efficient with Excel, Word, PDFs. CRM Systems etc.

  • An ability to deal professionally, calmly and tactfully with customers.

  • Ability to multi-task and work on your own initiative in a busy environment.

  • You must hold a full UK driving licence and have no more than 6 penalty points – due to company insurance policy
