As we continue to expand and strive for excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Technical Manager to join our team.Position Overview:As the Site Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance across our manufacturing facility in South East England. You will lead a dedicated team of technical professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of technical operations at the manufacturing site, including quality control, food safety, regulatory compliance, and hygiene standards.
* Develop and implement robust quality management systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
* Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and R&D, to drive innovation and product excellence.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and external auditors, maintaining strong relationships and representing the company's interests.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analysisQualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science.
* Extensive experience in a technical or quality leadership role within the FMCG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems, food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
* Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.Benefits:
