Technical Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering & Manufacturing Division are working with an innovative and dynamic manufacturer based on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a Technical Training Manager.
Working within the Aftersales department, this is a rare opportunity for a Technical Training Manager to support and manage all elements of technical training and technical support to customers who have purchased their product. You will deliver bespoke training packages to Technicians at the customer site which will enable them to service and maintain the machinery.
Our client is looking for a Technical Training Manager who has proven ability to develop, motivate and mentor a team of service or manufacturing technicians. The ideal candidate will have experience at Supervisor/Manager level within technical and complex assembly manufacturing, or a service/refurbishment environment for passenger carrying vehicles.
Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Training Manager include:
Developing and implementing business plans, strategies, and cases to support the development of the training requirement
Liaise with external providers to support current and projected training along with product knowledge
Liaise with internal departments on the progression of service and repair requirements
Handling the customer professionally and politely and kept fully aware of developments from technical enquiries
