Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg + 10% bonus

The role of Technical Manager
Ground Reinforcement Systems will involve:
Technical Manager position, selling a range of ground reinforcement products such as: grass reinforcements, gravel reinforcements and traffic paving
Dealing with specifiers, consultants, designers, architects, civils contractors and councils
Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects
Present CPDs (circa 8 seminars per month)
Providing technical solutions to customers ensuring that they get the best product for their requirements
Conduct site visits assessing the customers requirements and ensuring the project can be complete
Instructing Engineers to carry out ground testing where required
Regular liaison with internal sales team to book in CPDs and client visits
Offering technical advice to the sales team to assist with the raising of quotations
Typical order values range from £2,000 - £150,000
The ideal applicant will be Technical Manager
Ground Reinforcement Systems with:
Must have experience in a field based position managing your own diary
Must have sound technical knowledge of the civils / groundworks market sector
Ideally experience in ground reinforcement products such as geomembranes, grass/gravel reinforcements, drainage modules, gabions, erosion controls & root protection
Experience with dealing with specifiers, consultants, contractors and councils
Familiar with specifications and specification literature
Confident individual comfortable with presenting CPDs
Highly organised, motivated and driven
Excellent communication skills written and verbally
Outgoing, enthusiastic and confidentpersonality
Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
IT Literate
