Technical Manager - Data Centre

Job Description
Our client is a leading, innovative data centre services provider, who offer colocation and cloud services to diverse businesses and hyperscalers globally. Sustainability is at the heart of their business, with the majority of their operations powered by renewable energy.
They are growing rapidly and are now looking to hire an experienced Technical Manager to lead their London data centre team. Early in their expansion, it is an exciting time to be joining, with plenty of opportunity for career growth for the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining technical strategy and best practice relating to data centre performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Leading an operations and maintenance team across power, cooling, security and network infrastructure.
Providing technical oversight to projects such as upgrades, expansions, migrations.
Writing technical documentation relating to SOP/EOP/MOP, electrical safety rules and risk assessments.
Acting as our client's HV authorising engineer, ensuring the on-site team achieve HVAP status.
Acting as technical SME across international sites.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Deep experience in data centre operations.
Previous experience leading and managing technical teams in a data centre environment.
Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (across power, cooling, security and network systems).
Data centre related project management experience
Electrical engineering qualifications and background.
