YOUR NEW JOB...
We are looking for a Technical LED Operations Manager to join our Rightsholder Services team. Based in our Altrincham office, this brand-new role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical operations and project management background, ready to take the next step in their career.
Reporting into our Manager, LED Displays & Services, in this varied and fast-paced role, you will provide lead project management support for both seasonal & one-off LED installations and be responsible for managing the smooth running and overall technical operational delivery of SPORTFIVE’s LED services proposition to UK football clubs.
AS OUR TECHNICAL OPERATIONS & PROJECTS MANAGER, YOU WILL...
Provide excellent project management support to the Manager, LED Displays & Services for the implementation of seasonal & one-off LED installations, championing best-in-class delivery standards so that the expectations of our clients & customers are met & exceeded
Provide on-site operational venue support and conduct site-visits as needed
Ensure the smooth running of LED operations on match days, including coordination of LED crews, supporting technical & operational matters and stakeholder communications
Work closely with the Manager, Partnerships Delivery & Services along with the account management team so that communications and operational activities with our LED services clubs are effectively managed
Support the Manager, LED Displays & Services in developing the forward direction of all areas associated with SPORTFIVE’s LED Services business activities including but not limited to:
Stock controls including monitoring, maintenance & movements of hardware inventory and warehousing
Production & Tech specifications support
H&S matters
RAMS
Operational reporting, diary planning & scheduling
Key supplier, 3rd party & freelancer pool relationships
Training development
Hardware development
Promote a collaborative working environment & customer service excellence
Ensure a commitment to maintaining strong rightsholder relationships with a high level of customer service always provided
From time-to-time and as required by the business, provide project management support the Manager, Production Services on event branding & fixed signage activities
Make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies, ensuring the continual development of the department and processes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING...
Strong operations experience
Experience working in delivery of live/technical events, with LED screen experience desirable.
Previous experience leading projects
A passion for the delivery of high-quality events and experiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flawless attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
A team player with a professional, client-centric mindset and attitude
An interest in sport is desirable but not essential
Travel will be a key requirement of this role so a willingness to travel is essential
