Our client is looking for a Technical Integrity Team Lead for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)ROLEThe purpose of this role is to lead the team with responsibility for defining integrity and engineeringregimes, plans and scopes in line with our business objectives. Disciplines included within the teamare as follows:Pipeline IntegrityStructural IntegrityMaterials and Corrosion EngineeringLiftingThe Technical Integrity Function will include responsibility for definition/management of integrity relatedOPEX/CAPEX engineering projects on operated assets and to provide company with assurance of the integrity of third party operated Floating Production Systems.RESPONSIBILITIES:Providing leadership in the above areas of functional deliveryEnsuring that PIMS, SIMS and CMS are implemented, and that same systems are subject toregular review and audit.Ensuring that IM deliverables for each discipline are defined and effectively planned and deliveredto cost and schedule.Ensuring that Technical Authorities and Responsible Engineers deliver timely and cost effectivetechnical solutions and projects in the context of our life of field expectations.Making sure that our operating assets are provided with appropriate day-to-day operationaltechnical support by each technical discipline.Maintaining support contracts to provide sufficient levels of support to the function as defined byTechnical Authorities.Ensuring that Structural and Pipeline IM processes are delivered in accordance with documentedmanagement systems, and that visibility (through clear TA ownership) is maintained throughouteach full lifecycle phase, in particular monitoring our MCDR planning and liquidation.Develop and maintain key technical interfaces with third party FPS contractors.Ongoing management of technical performance standards for FPS within the assetportfolio.FPS performance monitoring and audit against defined performance standards.Providing technical diligence on FPS capital investment projects (such as life extension projects).Development of technical integrity best practice, driving technical innovation and promotion of thiswith Integrity Enactment teams, FPS contractors and the wider business.Technical development of functional Integrity Engineering resources, including the broadening ofcompetence in existing resources to cover the full discipline scope.Champion a culture of Process Safety excellence.Ensure that all relevant Regulations, Standards and Practices are applied within own area of responsibility.Ensure that standards of competence are met and maintained by all personnel within own area of responsibility.Scope of Responsibilities & Additional Requirements:Offshore and West Africa visits and technical audits to support onshore integrity team profile and ongoing work.Visits to various contractor offices, where meeting contractors in Aberdeen office is not feasible or practicable.REQUIREMENTS: Interpersonal Skills EssentialAbility to assess and measure assurance.Functional Job Skills EssentialClear understanding of integrity engineering fundamentals for the functional area covered.Ability to lead teams and develop personnel to the best of their abilities.Understanding of in-service deterioration mechanisms and corrosion preventative measures.Demonstrable ability to interpret engineering drawingsPrevious experience in application of integrity and risk managementExpertise in Pipeline/Structural IntegrityEngineering and ManagementAbility to compile and interpret budgetary information, and to make decisions/recommendations on this basis.PreferredExperience of FPSO operations management.Knowledge of class and flag state mechanismsExperience of intercompany contract negotiationUnderstanding of field life economic analysisProficiency in MS Office.Leadership Skills EssentialAbility to provide leadership and direction to team, such that a culture of proactivity, engagement and ownership is sustainedPlan and monitor structural/pipeline project and FPSO contractor activitiesProvide guidance, feedback and monitor performance of FPS contract activityProficiency in financial and commercial aspects of Pipeline/Structural/FPSO remitExcellent negotiator and communicator.PreferredPrevious experience in supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing others.Education and/or QualificationsEssentialDegree qualified or equivalent in relevant engineering disciplineChartered Engineer Status.PreferredMaster's degreeMarine engineering qualificationValid survival certificate and offshore medical
