Our client is looking to make a strategic appointment within their management team. As a Technical Director you will work closely with the Director, leading the civil engineering team on detailed and strategy design for a broad range of projects.

Sectors include: Education, commercial, industrial and residential.

About you:

Hold a degree, or equivalent, in civil engineering
Chartered or near Chartered
Extensive design experience in roads and drainage
Able to produce flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
Team leader with exceptional technical ability that you can impart
Sound business acumen and understanding of design standards
Able to manage project resourcing, review & approve work by others and oversee financial aspects of schemes
Able to prepare project bids

This role needs a leader - someone who can inspire a team and encourage innovative thinking and design ideas. You should have extensive experience within a UK consultancy and understand the importance of completing projects on time and within budget.
