Technical Delivery Manager - Remote role with 1 day per month in the officeEmbark on a transformative journey with an major tech player, they are now seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead crucial aspects of their internal IT projects. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in stabilizing and enhancing legacy systems within the Group IS, directly reporting to the Head of Project Delivery. This role involves upgrading systems and infrastructure to address technical debt, significantly impacting the technological landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Case Development: Collaborate with project sponsors to develop robust business cases, detailing the technical and financial benefits for leadership approval.Project Organisation and Management: Aid in the creation of structured project delivery plans, assist in managing project scope, and contribute to testing and cutover preparation activities.Issue and Risk Management: Work alongside project managers to identify and prioritize project risks and issues, ensuring proactive management.Stakeholder Engagement: Bridge the gap between Solution Architecture and business stakeholders, simplifying complex technical details into actionable insights.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperienced Project Manager / Delivery Manager , working within a complex, fast-paced matrix environment, driving technical project decisions, and engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders.Working on inhouse systems (ERP, HR, Finance )Exceptional communication skills to effectively coordinate among stakeholders and articulate complex technical options to business decision-makers.Analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in using software to mine data and navigate ambiguous project scenarios towards clarity.Strong background in Microsoft technologies such as ( Microsoft Development & Infrastructure , On Prem & Cloud)Project management experience or capability to assume PM responsibilities as needed.This position offers a dynamic career path with evolving responsibilities, ideal for technical experts who are visionary leaders ready to steer pivotal changes within a leading organization.All our roles are UK based.
