Technical Coordinator
Location: Northapmton
Salary - £55,000 - £62,000 + Package
I am currently recruiting for a Small/Medium sized housebuilder for a Technical coordinator to join a growing SME with a land bank of around around 1000 units with 3 live sites at current between 10 and 120 units. The technical coordinator will assist in the delivery of the schemes and play a pivotal role in the business moving forward.
Requirements

- Ability to prioritise as appropriate, motivate and communicate to influence others to ensure that the required objectives are met
- Leadership skills including being decisive, flexible, good time management, organised, effective, works well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Experience and understanding of maintaining technical schedules
- Ability to review drawings and identify buildability and technical issues
- Project and process management
- Problem solving and decision making
- Design delivery and assessing risks
- Effective communication with all levels of management and project teams, both internal and external to the Company
- Ability to coach and train junior and new team members in technical processes and procedures
- Passionate about customer satisfaction, house building and construction, with a focus on high standards and excellence.
- Knowledge and understanding of regeneration in mixed tenure developments
- Written and verbal communication skills
Deliverables
- Coordinate Technical and design processes, design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget
- Technical design coordination of schemes, ensuring that the maximum revenue is generated by the quality, cost effectiveness and buildability of the design
- Assisting with reviewing of consultant’s detail design drawings and subcontractor designs
- Coordinating consultants and their deliverables driving a high standard
- Ensuring that designs comply with Company’s standards
- Promoting design that respects budgetary constraints
