Salary:
Up to £65,000 (Dependent on experience)
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent
Working hours:
08:00 - 16:30 or 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday (Excluding Public Holidays)
37.5 hours per week.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Technical Consultant with strong networking experience to join our growing MSP in St Albans. Working within the Professional Services team, your responsibilities will be divided between escalated technical support, technical consultancy and pre-sales and project delivery to clients across the country.
Role Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of client projects, adhering to agreed-upon scope, timelines, and budget
Conduct technical pre-sales activities, engaging with clients to understand their requirements and providing comprehensive technical solutions that align with their needs and expectations
Provide management and support for Cheeky Munkey internal systems, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance to facilitate efficient business operations
Serve as a dedicated escalation point for the Helpdesk, managing escalated tickets, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and to a high quality
Facilitate seamless Client Onboarding/Offboarding processes, guiding clients through transitions
Liaising with clients, internal staff, and 3rd parties to efficiently deliver projects
Provide technical consultancy to Cheeky Munkey clients, offering expert guidance and recommendations to address their specific challenges and maximize the value they derive from our service
Carry out site surveys and create relevant documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
Work closely with the Head of Operations on the development and implementation of new initiatives, leveraging technical insights and expertise to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation
About You
Qualifications & Experience Required
Experience with management of devices and policies with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft Intune
Experience with Azure, including Azure Active Directory and virtual machines within the Azure Cloud
Deployment and advanced support of Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint/OneDrive and Teams
Management and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008-#####, including Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, AD Sync
Hands-on technical knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, Cisco, Meraki, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs and network segmentations
Understanding of virtualization technologies e.g VMware and Hyper-V
Understanding of backup and recovery concepts
Experience of configuring backups and running restores to all environments mentioned above
Understanding of and experience working with cloud technologies
Understanding of security concepts, compliance and governance
Experience working within technical project teams
Microsoft Certifications: MS-102, MS-500, AZ-104, AZ-140, MD-102
CCNA of equivalent experience
