Technical Business Analyst

Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT Solutions and Development team within Connells Group. You will help understand and translate business processes and requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating Business Requirement Specifications or User Stories to support the development or modification of our internally developed business systems.This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our Milton Keynes office.About the TeamThe IT Solutions & Development team develops and maintains business applications, websites and reporting for all business units and subsidiaries across Connells Group.IT Solutions & Development comprises of the following key areas:Application DevelopmentOnline DevelopmentData DevelopmentBusiness SolutionsKey responsibilities of the Business Analyst:Elicit and capture business requirementsProduce business requirements documents or user storiesProactively work with senior business managers to understand their business processes and needsFoster a culture of creating excellent working relationships with staff at all levelsWork closely with Systems Analysts and Architects to ensure that requirements are addressed within technical specificationsContinually communicate to clients on project progression and clarification of requirementsCo-ordinate user acceptance testing and support clients in writing appropriate test scenariosProvide application support as requiredReceive and collate all feedback and change requests from the businessRepresent the Business Analysis team at business meetings including making presentationsSupport the project management of changes into the production environmentExperience & skills required to be successful as a Business Analyst:EssentialDocumenting business requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProject Management skillsPresenting specifications to clientsAbility to communicate with stakeholders at all levelsCompetent in Microsoft Word & ExcelDesirableBSC Diploma in Business Analysis (ISEB)Proficient in using Microsoft VisioExperience in writing basic MS SQL queriesConnells Group is one of the largest and most successful estate agency and property services providers in the UK and as of March 2021 also encompasses Countrywide.
