Technical Business Analyst - Sustainability/ESG

Job DescriptionAbout the jobMy client is a consultancy that provide sustainable/ESG solutions to some of the most recognised retail brands globally. They are looking for a Junior Technical Business Analyst ideally with experience in sustainability, who is a fast learner with a hands-on approach; a team player able to work together with multiple businesses and stakeholders to understand client objectives and document requirements to deliver technical solutions, including mapping the data from external systems into a Sustainability Analytics and Business Intelligence tool.Key accountabilities include:Working with clients to understand, scope and document their business requirements for a sustainability data platform and BI tool.Become an expert in sustainability tools and be able to deliver technical demonstrations of the Location Optimiser functionality and capabilities to client stakeholders.Work together with the Project Manager to deliver the best solution for multiple clients as well as delivering user training.Professional skillsAbility to learn technical solutions quickly to become expert and capability to train others in these solutions.An understanding of the end-to-end software implementation processFamiliarity with Agile/ Scrum methodologyA strong command of English with excellent communication and presentation skillsExperienceA Business Analyst with 1-2 years experience with a track record in technical development.It would be nice if you have:Experience of working as a technical business analyst with sustainability projects and knowledge of ESG data topics and sustainability regulation and compliance.An experience of data mapping and consolidating.Experience at working across multiple geographies.Ideally a degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or related disciplineKey CompetenciesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsDetailed, precise and quality focusedTeam playerA self-starter who seeks ways to improve current practiceChallenge status quo and find better ways of working / new processes and solutionsThe role is based in Central London and hybrid paying upto £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
