Technical Assessor (National Highway Sector Schemes)

Role: NHSS (Technical Assessor)
Contract role: Daily Rate + Expenses.
Location: Remote, UK coverage
We are currently looking for an external Technical Assessor to support our National Highway Sector Schemes (NHSS) assessments from fencing to paint and road surfaces, playing a pivotal role in upholding industry standards and ensuring compliance with regulations in the highway sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of highway construction and maintenance projects.
Evaluating compliance with National Highway Sector Schemes standards.
Providing detailed feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to address any compliance issues.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and standards within the industry.
What We're Looking For:
A background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of highway construction and maintenance practices.
Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance assessment preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in the highway sector.
