Service Continuity Analyst | Surrey & Home Based | circa £30,000Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with a key client; a managed service provider based in Surrey as they look to hire an enthusiastic IT Analyst. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and support for our clients’ managed service environments; providing essential maintenance, patching and upgrades.++ If you can make yourself available for a face to face interview on either 27th or 28th February between 4pm : 6.30pm, you will put yourself in a very strong position ++THE RESPONSIBILITIES:Service Continuity Analysts who can provide technical support and 24×7 monitoring on an ‘out of office’ hours rota, whilst providing handovers of incidents and general task progress, will be of interest. Analysts who can ensure that updates provided for configuration information and updates for release management – ensuring SLAs and OLAs are managed and met, will also be sought after.If you can identify areas for service continuity team improvement and ensure compliance to relevant security controls and procedures (i.e. ISO27001) then you are likely to receive an immediate interview.THE TECHNICAL STUFF:Experience in service delivery in an SLA based environment and experience of resource management is important.Analysts who have ticketing systems experience, and security best practice awareness with a technical appreciation of IT environments including sound working knowledge of the following will be highly desirable:– System Center suite : particularly SCCM, SCOM and SCVMM– Hyper-V and VMWare– Monitoring tools : Solarwinds– Storage technologies– Cisco networking technologies– Blade server technology– Server patching experienceAnalysts/Engineers who use automated tools for deployment and implementation, and have proven skills in managing, supporting and maintaining Microsoft based infrastructure, with an ability and willingness to work flexibly should apply.THE DESIRABLE SKILLS:ITIL qualification to at least Foundation level experience in a commercial IT Solutions provider or Managed Services environment and compellent SAN experience would be highly desirable.THE CONCLUSION:Technical Analysts, Tier 2, System Analysts, NOC Analysts or 2nd Line Engineers with solid problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and advisory skills and good demonstrable troubleshooting skills, networking skills and a pro-active approach to support delivery will thrive in this role.You will work on a rota pattern of 2 days on, 2 nights on (with remote/home based work) and 4 straight days off work, equating to 40 hours per week.Your own transport will be an important fixture with this role.Please contact Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists for more details.++ If you can make yourself available for a face to face interview on either 27th or 28th February between 4pm : 6.30pm, you will put yourself in a very strong position ++
