That’s where Vanderlande comes in as a strategic partner with full responsibility of the performance and maintenance of Heathrow’s baggage handling systems.Your role Working within London Heathrow Airport, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing daily leadership and continuous guidance to your team, ensuring Health and Safety is paramount during all operational and maintenance activities along with interaction with internal and external customers. You will be performing the following tasks:Ensuring that Safety is always paramount during all Operational and Maintenance activities.Conducting quality auditing of work, and productivity checks and taking appropriate action if/when requiredConstantly displays the desire to learn and help others in their progressionAdditional responsibilities:Day Shift.Issue PPM workorders out to shifts, close off all PCM and CM’sAttend system outages, to assist technicians in resolving the faults before escalating to LLCST.Keep daily report up-to date with system issues and handovers, including raising work orders for the night shift.Stepping in to cover Duty Engineers in their absence.Attending H&S meetings.Night shiftPlan the shift PPM maintenance / project work including handovers from the day shift.PPM work orders to be completed and filled out to the required standard.Complete and send out nightly report e-mail of works completed, including handovers, project work, system issues etc.What we expect from youAs a Service Technician you make an important contribution to customer satisfaction, whereby the continuity of the customer process is central. You therefore have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and are flexible.
