Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity to join the Kuehne+Nagel team in Yeovil. Your Role Due to continued business growth and internal reorganisation within the Leonardo contract we have a vacancy for a Team Leader based in Yeovil, Somerset. Reporting to the Process Manager, the team Leader will be responsible for the manufacturing of packaging media solutions for spares and repairs on behalf of Leonardo Helicopters Your Responsibilities Carry out effective planning of workload/volumes and best utilise the labour resource to meet agreed customer performance levels.Organise Training for members of the team for new and on-going skills.Manage performance utilising KPI’s. Produce performance reports for teams and Process Manager.Lead continuous improvement process, directing and motivate the team to maintain and improve the production process and associated administrative systems by using such tools as six sigma methodology & First Pass Yield analysis.Ensure fair and consistent management of all employees. Ensure that all appraisals, training needs and performance match that of business requirements.Support the Process Manager in all necessary functions and communications as required.To carry out any additional admin tasks for senior management Your Skills and Experiences The successful candidate will have proven supervisory / management skills.Applicants
