To work in a highly trained dedicated Team to support Residents (6) on a 1:1 or 2:1 bases that have complex needs in terms of autism and learning disabilities. Ensuring a safe, secure and happy home for the residents
The role includes:
Responsibility for the effective induction of new residents and the effective management of residents who depart
Liaise with parents/carers, Healthcare professionals and Local Authorities as appropriate
Responsible for providing high quality input into care plans for residents to ensure the care meets their needs and develops them as individuals
Excellent Team Player to ensure the Team reaches the objectives set to the standards required, by leading by example with a Hands On Approach
Attend meetings with external agencies to ensure resident's needs are being met
Responsible for co-ordinating resident's holidays.
Overall responsibility for ensuring that residents are provided with nutritious meals which uphold the ethos of the House.
