Job Description
Team Manager
Hours – Working 37.5 hour per week. Shifts between 8am - 8pm Monday to Thursday, Friday no late finishes and every 3rd Saturday morning 8am till 2pm.
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, we are welcoming applications from target-oriented, people-focused Team Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team who deliver best in class customer interactions and performance. This is working within a FCA regulated environment therefore experience in this sector would be beneficial.
Day to Day of the role:
Create a successful collections culture while adhering to compliance
Ensure customers are treated fairly and generating good outcomes
Motivate, mentor and value your team to enable them to succeed in all aspects of their role
Deliver on agreed KPIs, including quality, risk, people, efficiency and values
Analyse team performance
Hold regular, interactive coaching sessions with team members to help them achieve their full potential
Facilitate monthly 1-2-1s to have honest conversations about performance & set clear expectations
Manage performance on an individual and team level; following the performance management framework where required
Provide regular updates to operations managers on all issues affecting team and business
Experience we are looking for:
Proven success in a team manager role (ideally in financial services or similar)
Inbound and/or outbound contact centre experience
Effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Performance management experience & success
Advanced PC skills to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong influencing, negotiating and decision-making skills
Proactive and positive attitude
