Logistics People are looking for a Team Leader to join our team.Location: DudleyWorking Hours:Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating Shifts AvailablePay rate: £13.85 P/hrPosition: Team LeaderLogistics People are currently recruitingTeam Leaders to join our Team in Dudley, Based at our IPS site.What doesworking as Team Leader for Logistics Peopleinvolve?Co-ordinate the activities of the warehouse team, providing clear concise direction and to maximise employee contributionAchieve KPIs including pallet movements per hour, stock accuracy, deployment and utilisation of stock on outboundSupport the Warehouse Manager in the delivery of training SOP's and development plansSupport customer stocktakes on site as requiredDelivery of operational standards in the warehouse areas for hygiene, stock segregation and traceabilityResponsible for own and team's development - moving towards a self-management cultureInvestigate and report findings and KPI anomalies to the warehouse manager in a timely and professional basis.To ensure, identify and promote best working practices for continual improvement within the department and business.To ensure Data, reports and system requirements for the continued function of work are completed in a timely and accurate manner.Ensure effective management of stock and pallet storage and integrity, completing weekly counts and input of customer data.Work in a collaborative manner with the production department ensuring Lines are supplied in a timely manner & notified of any issues affecting shift efficiency.Ensure teams are providing a reliable service that meets the company's KPI's, quality measures in line with good manufacturing practices (GMP)Support Warehouse manager on all aspects of cost control.Promote and adhere to health and safety practices at all timesBe a role model and champion best practiceTo undertake other duties from time to time that are commensurate within this roleKnowledge, Skills & Experience:Possess a dynamic leadership attitude, supporting teams as needed and work together to add value and manage challengesExcellent communication skills and ability to engage, motivate and coachPossess a 'right first time' attitude and have a willingness to be hands on when requiredMHE Licence requiredReach TruckCounter BalanceT20IPAFMinimum 3 years warehousing experienceExperience of managing teams, able to prioritise.Customer stock and systems experienceWhat are the benefits of working for Logistics People?24/7 on-site supportCareer progression opportunitiesTemp to Perm opportunitiesLong term workModern FacilitiesImmediate StartsGreat Rates Of PayDON'T BE SHY!!
