Service Charge Team Leader needed - Birmingham / Hybrid Role

We are a leading Housing Association committed to building quality, affordable homes, and sustainable communities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Charge Team Leader to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: The Service Charge Team Leader will be responsible for managing the service charge team and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of service charges to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Service Charge team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of service charges in accordance with lease agreements and legislation.
• Prepare annual service charge budgets and end of year reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve service charge queries.
• Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to improve service charge management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a Housing Association.
• Strong understanding of service charge legislation and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
