Position: Team Leader - Recruitment Consultant

Sector: Property and Construction

Location : London (hybrid arrangement, with minimum of three days in office)

Key responsibilities


  •  Lead and mentor a team of recruitment consultants, providing guidance, support, and motivation to maximise performance and achieve targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the team's productivity, efficiency, and overall success.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve team goals, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates across various industries and disciplines.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes to optimise recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Provide guidance to team members on all aspects of recruitment, mentoring less experienced colleagues and enabling them to be successful.

About you

To join us as a Team Leader, your skills and experience should include:


  • Bachelor's degree, masters or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in recruitment with a track record of success in achieving targets and leading teams.
  • Experience of working on senior to executive level positions in a candidate short market.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software.
  • An understanding of how to motivate, challenge and get the very best out of team members.
