You are accountable in achieving the store’s sales and profit by maintaining upselling procedures and guest care. It is your responsibility to keep your people driven and create a cheerful professional working environment that will keep our Guests wanting to return to German Doner KebabDuties and ResponsibilitiesLeads Operations Excellence:Oversees and manages at a German Doner Kebab RestaurantEnsures guest service meets company standards and strong customer satisfaction is maintainedRespond efficiently to Guest complaints and takes appropriate action to solve the problemEnforces and ensures the best quality of products possible is servedOrganise and supervise responsibilities to ensure both team colleagues and guests satisfactionTrains and directs team members through strong well organised training to ensure great guest serviceAppraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep the team motivated and productiveMaintain Stock inventory and analyse consumptionMonitors and ensures compliance with food safety and health & safety rules and regulationsSuccessfully promote and publicize the GDK brandNurture a positive working environment and leads by exampleMonitor operations and initiate corrective actionsTo be duty manager on rotation basisLead Pre- and Post-Shift rally with the team to communicate set targets, share feedback and brief the team about any business related informationTaking responsibility for the business performance of the front of House of a German Doner Kebab restaurantTo ensure operating according to GDK guidelinesAddress the root cause of related Guest complaints and take action to resolve the problemEnsuring that all employees adhere to the company uniform standardsMeeting and greeting guests and organising table reservationsOrganising and supervising the shifts of dining and counterstaffMaintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safetyPreparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as requiredHelping in any position when circumstances dictateTo take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environmentAt the end of each shift complete all necessary daily reportsAttend any training or meetings as and when required by German Doner Kebab or the FranchiseeTo perform any other duties as designated by Operations Manager due to business demandsWorking with General Store Manager to coordinate all aspectsTo monitor the stock storage areas and neat and clean at all timesTo collaborate with the General Store Manager and the Store Team to ensure tight stock control and budgeted margins are achievedTo fill out daily paperworkTo meet and greet all customers where possible and role model exceptional guest careTo lead and comply with maintaining high standards of guest careTo support team colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure guest expectations are metEnsure GDK team are always well groomed and smart ready for workAt all times promote and follow legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the businessHave a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently takes care of preventative maintenanceBusiness Relationships Within The Restaurant:Store team ColleaguesGuests / Delivery driversGDK personnelQualifications:A qualified candidate for the position of a Shift Leader should have outstanding interactive and communication skills and possess the enthusiasm to work with colleague and team as a team player. In addition to these, the following qualities, skills, knowledge, and abilities are most sought:Proven working experience as Supervisor/Duty Manager within the Food IndustryDemonstrated experience in guest service managementExtensive guest care knowledgeProficiency in EnglishComputer literacy and familiarity with POS systemsStrong leadership, motivational and people skillsAlready uploaded your CV?
