Position: Team Leader for Residential Childcare Home
Location: Cannock
Contract: Permanent
Salary:�Circa��35,600.00 this includes sleep in allowance (�70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month)
Shift Pattern: Two consecutive days on followed by four days off
Are you a dedicated and experienced individual looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking a passionate Team Leader to join our residential childcare home.�We specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of support staff.
Ensure the safety, welfare, and�wellbeing�of children and young people under your care.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Promote a nurturing and supportive environment within the residential home.
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Act as a positive role model and mentor to staff members.
Requirements:
Experience working within residential childcare settings.
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
A valid full driver's license is essential.
