Logoplaste UK is currently seeking to recruit Team Leaders in Dumfries.Reporting to the Production Manager, the Team Leader will be required to work as an integral part of the production team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach, including administrative tasks.Key tasks & Activities…Actively managing the development of the team. Ensuring people are working through their training matrix.Leading the induction and training of new starters on your team.Managing a safe working environment, PPE auditing and site cleanlinessEnsure quality is maintained across all production.Responsible for actively managing any capability or conduct issues and following through with formal processes and procedures.Manage and progress your team to fulfil production needs.Keep the daily operations of the organisation flowing smoothly. Providing support, direction and assistance to the team in all areasAccurate recording of material and product movementsCover Team Leader duties across the shift in conjunction with your fellow Team LeadersCreate and sustain a culture that is aligned to Logoplaste’s corporate values and principles by role-modelling behaviours, motivating, encouraging, and recognising the contribution of Team MembersWho we are looking for…Background and ExperiencePrevious experience in a supervisory capacity.Have a broad range of experience in different areas of production.Experienced in the Logoplaste production and supply processes.Demonstrate recognised levels of competence that are consistent with the role.Demonstrate potential to lead, engage, train and develop direct reports.Technical SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeTime managementLeadership skills and ability to identify training needs.Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.Capability to train on production lines under your management.Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude at all timesFlexibility and reliability are essential for this position.Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritisation.Leadership skills and identifying training needs on shift.Experience in providing support to the team, continuously driving performance.Effective communicator at all levelsFull training will be given to the right candidate.Logoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
