At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Team Lead Mechanic to work with an important micromobility company in London - leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.

Shift Patterns:

• 5 days out of 7, including weekends, 9am-5pm

Pay Rates

• up to £15 depending on experience

As a Mechanic Team Lead you will need to have:

1. Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry
2. An Electrical engineering or mechanic background - qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are hugely advantageous
3. Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
4. Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
5. Good communication skills with the ability to read and follow instructions
6. Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!

Role of a Mechanic Team Lead:

1. Lead a team of Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficient and thorough.
2. Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
3. Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
4. Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
5. Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
6. Evaluate performance of your team and give performance feedback
7. Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
8. Oversee and train new mechanics while maintaining a team oriented environment and integrating new mechanics to the team
9. Additional job related tasks as assigned
