Teaching assistants

At Holden knight education we work in partnership with schools in and around the areas of Berkshire that need supply teaching assistants to cover in different areas within schools on a regular basis. If you are looking for work that offers you the flexibility to choose when and where, this could be the perfect option for you.

Classroom duties:

• Working to ensure the students receive an inclusive education with 1:1 support, based on their individual social, educational and intellectual needs.
• Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
• Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
• Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
• Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
• Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
• Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
• Support students with SEN and additional needs
