Key Responsibilities:

Support the learning and development of pupils with PMLD and SLD, both individually and in groups.
Assist the classroom teacher in creating and implementing individualised learning plans.
Provide personal care and support to students, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Use specialised equipment and resources to facilitate student learning.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Promote communication and social skills through tailored activities and interventions.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with PMLD and SLD is highly desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field are advantageous.
Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each pupil.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
