Teaching Assistant

Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a lovely Secondary School in Newark and we are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at this school on a full-time basis. The role is a long term position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher during lessons
Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1 to 1 basis
Running small group exercises
Ensuring students understand the lessons and work they are completing
To be successful for the role, you will:
Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification/experience
Have previous experience working within a school environment
Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
